Privacy Policy for the "QuickAns" Application

This document sets out the rules for processing personal data by MatCode Mateusz Arczyński (ul. Portowa 10, 86-200 Chełmno, Poland, NIP 875-156-25-99, REGON 383604557, e-mail: matcode.help@gmail.com) – hereinafter referred to as the "Administrator". This document has been prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR").

1. Glossary

User – a natural person installing or using the "QuickAns" mobile application (hereinafter: the "Application").

Service – functionalities of the Application.

2. Scope and Purposes of Data Processing

• Analytical data (in-app events, device ID) – purpose: improving the application, usage analysis; basis: Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest of the Administrator).
• Advertising identifiers (e.g., GAID/IDFA) – purpose: displaying personalized ads; basis: Art. 6(1)(a) (User's consent).
• Crash logs (technical data of the device and application, e.g., Firebase Crashlytics) – purpose: diagnosing and fixing errors; basis: Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest of the Administrator).
• Facebook login data (if the User chooses Facebook login: Facebook ID, e-mail) – purpose: authentication; basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract – optional feature).

3. Data Recipients

The Application uses third-party services:

• Google Play Services, Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics, Auth – if applicable)
• Google AdMob (ad display)
• Facebook SDK (social login – optional)

These providers may process data in the USA or other countries outside the EEA. Transfers are based on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and additional safeguards.

4. Retention Period

• Facebook login data – until the account link is removed or a data deletion request is made.
• Technical and crash logs – up to 24 months.
• Advertising identifiers – until consent is withdrawn or the ID is reset by the User.
• Analytical data – stored in aggregated or anonymized form for as long as necessary for statistical and service improvement purposes.
• Database backups (if applicable) – max. 30 days.

5. User Rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify, delete, restrict processing, transfer, object to processing (especially when the basis is legitimate interest), and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal). Send requests to matcode.help@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

6. Tracking Mechanisms / Device Identifiers

The Application does not store traditional "cookies" as understood by web browsers, but SDKs used (e.g., Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK) may use device or advertising identifiers (GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS) for analytics, ad personalization, or authentication. You can manage advertising identifiers (limit tracking, reset ID) in your device's system settings.

7. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including data transmission encryption (e.g., TLS), access control, and regular backups (if applicable). In the event of a personal data breach that may result in a high risk to your rights or freedoms, we will inform you in accordance with applicable regulations (Art. 34 GDPR).

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for persons under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by law in your country to consent to data processing). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If we become aware that a child under the required age has provided us with personal data without parental consent, we will delete it immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and know that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at matcode.help@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes to the Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy. New versions will be published in the Application and on the website at https://gympad-282d8.web.app/quickans/policy-en.html. We recommend checking this page regularly. For significant changes that may affect your rights, we will try to inform you more directly (e.g., in-app notification). The last update date at the top of the document indicates when the policy was last changed.
